Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelorâ??s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience in project or program management.
- Minimum of 8 years managing complex, multidisciplinary projects with a proven track record of successful delivery.
- Strong understanding of threat models, risk mitigation strategies, and safety considerations specific to AGI systems, with the ability to connect research insights to practical safety controls.
- Knowledge of large language models and AI agents, including their behavior, evaluation, and alignment techniques used in machine learning research and applications.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex technical concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous research environments, with a history of delivering high-quality results on tight deadlines.
About the Role and Environment
As a Senior Technical Program Manager at DeepMind, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the development of advanced AI systems.
