At Braze, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team in London. This role is central to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Solutions Consulting organization by developing and maintaining internal systems, automations, and data insights that support global sales efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing shared tools such as demo automation systems, agent and MCP skill packages, workflow plugins, and a central repository of reusable assets. These systems are designed to be built once and used across regions, enabling faster deployment and consistency in client engagements.
A key part of this role involves transforming signals and data from the global Solutions Consulting team into a well-prioritized backlog of development tasks. This includes defining what information needs to be collected, how to gather it, and attaching relevant metrics to evaluate the impact of each initiative. The engineer will generate insights that explain the reasons behind observed trends, what has changed, and why, providing actionable intelligence to Solutions Consultants and sales leaders across different regions.
Understanding regional differences in sales operations is crucial. The engineer will reconcile various regional metrics, identify patterns, and surface insights that might otherwise go unnoticed, all without enforcing a uniform set of measurements. Engaging directly with Solutions Consultants, Account Executives, and regional leaders, the engineer will qualitatively identify friction points in the sales process, mapping how each function supports deal progression.
When bespoke solutions are genuinely needed, the engineer will take ownership of high-leverage, custom development requests, assessing when a custom build is justified versus when to leverage existing reusable assets. They will also promote the adoption of the tools and systems created by the team through regular updates, showcases, and by making assets easily discoverable and accessible at the moment of need.
Collaboration is vital. The engineer will work closely with teams such as Field Architecture, POC Program Delivery, Security & Privacy, Technology Partnerships, and RFP Management, acting as a connective layer to ensure alignment and smooth integration across functions.
