Senior Verification Engineer Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Verification Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing next-generation semiconductor products tailored for artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads. This role involves working closely with a collaborative engineering team to verify complex digital systems, ensuring high standards of quality from the earliest stages of product development. You will be actively involved in specification reviews, architecture discussions, and advancing verification methodologies to support innovative AI silicon solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed verification plans based on product specifications and architectural needs, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
• Create, develop, and maintain verification environments and testbenches for sophisticated digital hardware used in AI and high-performance computing applications.
• Design stimulus generators, functional models, checkers, and infrastructure components to facilitate thorough functional validation.
• Set, measure, and meet goals related to functional and code coverage to guarantee verification completeness.
• Perform RTL debugging and waveform analysis to identify and resolve functional issues efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with architecture, modeling, and RTL design teams to ensure alignment on functional correctness and product specifications.
• Participate in specification reviews and architecture discussions, influencing the development of advanced AI silicon products.
• Drive continuous improvements in verification techniques, automation, and workflows to enhance productivity and quality.
• Support the integration of software engineering best practices within hardware development processes for better efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills and Experience

• Significant experience in pre-silicon RTL verification, with a proven ability to develop and execute verification strategies from initial specifications to coverage closure.
• Experience in building verification environments, testbenches, stimulus, functional models, and checkers for complex digital hardware components.
• Strong programming skills, especially in Python, complemented by a solid understanding of digital hardware design principles.
• Ability to read, understand, and debug RTL code written in SystemVerilog effectively.
• Experience analyzing simulation results and troubleshooting using waveform viewers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience with Transaction-Level Modeling (TLM), UVM, SystemC, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog Assertions and open-source silicon development tools.
• Experience with verification frameworks such as Cocotb.
• Familiarity with simulation and verification tools, formal verification methodologies, and integrated hardware/software development environments.
• Knowledge of modern build and automation systems.
• Exposure to AI accelerators, machine learning hardware, high-performance computing architectures, or data center infrastructure.
