Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive verification plans for complex mixed-signal ASICs, ensuring all design aspects are thoroughly validated.
  • Create and maintain verification environments utilizing UVM-based SystemVerilog testbenches tailored to project needs.
  • Write, debug, and execute test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and robustness of ASIC designs, including corner cases and performance benchmarks.
  • Perform verification at both block and full-chip levels, managing simulation runs, coverage analysis, and regression testing to ensure quality and completeness.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams to interpret specifications, clarify verification requirements, and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues uncovered during verification and post-silicon validation, providing effective solutions.
  • Mentor junior verification engineers, sharing best practices and driving improvements in verification methodologies and infrastructure.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of verification processes and tools.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of five years of practical experience in digital and/or mixed-signal design verification within the semiconductor industry.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology, with hands-on experience using industry-standard simulation tools such as Synopsys VCS or Cadence Xcelium.
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles, RTL design, and ASIC development workflows.
  • Ability to use scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell to automate tasks and improve verification efficiency.
  • Familiarity with formal verification, assertion-based techniques, and coverage-driven verification approaches.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze complex verification challenges effectively.
