Capgemini is seeking a Senior Service Management Consultant to join their team, primarily within the Cloud Advisory division of Capgemini Invent. This role involves leading the design, development, and delivery of innovative service management solutions that align with ITIL v4 standards, emphasizing agility, service quality, and cost efficiency. The successful candidate will guide clients through modernization initiatives, including governance, tooling, cultural change, and organizational restructuring, applying SIAM and Lean principles to optimize multi-vendor environments and cloud integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and implementation of advanced service management capabilities, processes, and operating models that foster innovation and agility.
  • Assist clients in transforming their service frameworks, covering governance, skills, tooling, and organizational culture, with a focus on cloud integration and multi-vendor management using SIAM and Lean methodologies.
  • Develop strategic migration plans from on-premise systems to hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring scalable and resilient service architectures.
  • Promote automation and AI integration into service management processes to enhance operational efficiency and deliver measurable business benefits.
  • Support practice development, contribute to business growth through proposals, RFPs, and client pitches, and participate in internal initiatives such as whitepapers and campaign development.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through certifications, training, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive practical experience in designing and deploying ITIL v4-based service management frameworks, optimizing ITSM tools, and driving automation within IT and business processes.
  • Strong client-facing skills, including business case development, managing commercial processes, and supporting sales activities.
  • Proven leadership in advisory projects, team management, and building trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud centers of excellence, SIAM models, hybrid/multi-cloud environments, DevOps, CI/CD, Lean, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working within consulting or industry roles with a service management focus, demonstrating success in complex, matrixed organizations and proposition delivery.
  • Additional skills in proposition building, business development, and leveraging networks for client engagement are advantageous.
