Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain scalable infrastructure solutions to guarantee high service availability and optimal performance.

• Work closely with software development teams to embed reliability and operational best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Monitor system health metrics, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.
• Create and update comprehensive documentation covering system architecture, operational procedures, and incident reports.
• Participate in on-call duties to provide 24/7 support for critical systems, responding swiftly to outages and performance issues.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in designing and managing large-scale, distributed systems with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Deep understanding of cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
• Strong grasp of networking concepts, security protocols, and system performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to operate effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
