The role

At THEWHITEAM Consulting we are looking to hire a Software Architect with at least 6 years of professional experience, specialized in Java development environments and distributed architectures, to participate in the design, evolution, and technical governance of complex technological solutions.

The selected person will have a key role in defining scalable, resilient, and maintainable architectures, collaborating closely with development teams, product owners, and other technological areas to ensure alignment between business needs and technical decisions.

This is a position with a strong practical component, where in addition to defining technological standards and strategies, active participation is expected in resolving technical challenges, architecture reviews, supporting teams, and adopting software engineering best practices.

The vacancy offers a hybrid working environment, with a preferred location in Seville, joining a multidisciplinary team focused on innovation, software quality, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Actively participate in the design and evolution of complex technological solutions.

  • Define modern, scalable, and maintainable architectures, ensuring their alignment with business needs.

  • Support development teams in the implementation of solutions and in the adoption of the defined architectural decisions.

  • Design and promote solutions based on microservices, APIs, and architectural patterns oriented towards resilience, decoupling, and maintainability.

  • Define and evolve cloud-native architectures in Azure and/or AWS environments, incorporating containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Provide architectural vision for frontend applications (Angular) and mobility (Android and iOS), ensuring their correct integration with backend systems.

  • Ensure the technical quality of solutions through the application of CI/CD practices, testing, observability, and technical debt management.

  • Act as a technical reference for development teams, participating in architectural decision-making and communicating them effectively to both technical and non-technical profiles.

How you'll work

This is a long-term opportunity in a public administration project. Hybrid modality in Seville (Remote work possible).
