Figma is expanding its team of creative professionals dedicated to making design accessible to everyone. Our platform empowers teams to bring their ideas to life, whether through brainstorming, prototyping, or utilizing AI. We are on a mission to redefine the collaboration between designers, product managers, and engineers, and we are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in AI Product to join our London office.

As a Software Engineer at Figma, you will:

• Develop and enhance Dev Mode and MCP tools to improve collaboration between developers and designers.
• Participate in the creation of new products from concept to launch within the coding space.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality products.
• Mentor peers and foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
• Build strong relationships with team members to contribute positively to Figma’s workplace culture.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering user-facing features or products as a full-stack developer.
• Proficiency in React and Typescript with a strong understanding of their applications.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across various functions to drive proactive solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship in coding.
• Demonstrated ability to work at a high velocity while maintaining a focus on user impact.

While not mandatory, the following experiences would be advantageous:

• Leading large-scale engineering projects with significant impact.
• Driving cross-functional projects in collaboration with Product, Design, Data, and Research teams.
• Experience with user-facing LLM and agentic product features.
• Curating and developing evaluation sets and LLMs.
