Currently, we are seeking a talented Software Engineer specializing in App Development to join our team in Galway, Ireland. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying mobile and web applications that improve user engagement and functionality. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define project requirements, develop solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Your responsibilities will include participating in code reviews, testing, debugging, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our development practices and tools. Staying informed about the latest trends and technologies in app development is essential to bring innovative features into our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software applications focused on mobile and web platforms to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to ensure software reliability, performance, and security.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and technologies used within the team.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies related to app development to incorporate innovative features and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in software development, particularly in building mobile and web applications.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Experience with modern development frameworks and tools relevant to app development, such as React Native, Flutter, or native SDKs.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, version control systems, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
