Key Responsibilities

• Rapidly design, prototype, and deploy comprehensive full-stack features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand their workflows, gather insights, and identify opportunities for impactful product enhancements.
• Analyze user requests to spot common patterns and abstract them into reusable primitives, platforms, or middleware solutions that serve a broad range of needs.
• Develop tools that enable less technical users to work more autonomously and creatively.
• Make strategic decisions about product features and prioritize development efforts based on user impact and business goals.
• Continuously iterate on products by incorporating user feedback to improve usability and functionality.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Has more than six years of experience in building production-quality software, preferably with full-stack expertise.
• Can operate independently, managing entire product cycles from conception to deployment, even when working solo.
• Thinks systematically and abstractly, understanding the platform and infrastructure behind features.
• Is passionate about empowering users and solving real-world problems through their work.
• Owns the outcomes of their work, ensuring solutions effectively address user needs.
• Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and navigating ambiguity.
• Maintains high standards for quality, performance, and reliability without external pressure.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, and React, with experience in building foundational platforms or internal tools.
• Has a proven track record of independently shipping products, not just contributing to team efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranges from £255,000 to £325,000 GBP, depending on experience and role specifics.
• Flexible working hours with a hybrid work policy requiring at least 25% in-office presence in London, with some roles possibly needing more time onsite.
