The position available is for a Software Validation Engineer with a strong emphasis on Python programming and automation skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated testing procedures and regression frameworks to validate complex silicon devices, particularly System-on-Chip (SoC) components. You will be involved in both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation activities, ensuring comprehensive testing of hardware and embedded systems.

Key responsibilities include working closely with design, embedded software, hardware, and systems teams to ensure validation processes are thorough and effective. You will utilize your Python expertise to create test scripts, automation tools, and validation environments that enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Additionally, you will operate laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators to support hardware validation efforts.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in Python for testing and automation, with a proven ability to develop automated test frameworks and regression environments. Hands-on experience with embedded systems, hardware, or complex electronic products is essential. Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment is required, and exposure to SoC validation, FPGA prototyping, DSP, wireless, or RF systems is highly desirable.
