Google is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect specialized in Digital Platforms within Google Cloud to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing innovative solutions for financial services, particularly focusing on blockchain, tokenization, and AI-driven automation to modernize workflows in the capital markets industry. The successful candidate will work within the Global Solutions and Consumer AI organization, aiming to accelerate customer value and adoption of Google Cloud services by delivering enterprise-grade, industry-relevant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a scalable position-keeping system for blockchain networks that supports various tokenized and hybrid financial instruments, forming the backbone of next-generation financial infrastructure.
• Lead the architecture and development of a wallet service that enables AI agents to query real-time position data efficiently for clients.
• Partner with client stakeholders to create detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), defining critical user journeys and success metrics to ensure project clarity and alignment.
• Evaluate and integrate solutions with modern data architectures, including relational databases, data lakehouses, and real-time streaming systems, optimizing data pipelines for AI and financial insights.
• Create technical documentation and guidelines to facilitate a seamless transition from proof-of-concept prototypes to full engineering development.

Qualifications

• A bachelorâ??s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in software or data engineering roles, with expertise in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep understanding of design patterns, testing frameworks, and API contract design.
• Experience with back-office financial processes like trade reconciliation, transaction settlement, and risk mitigation.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions and smart contracts within regulated financial environments, managing tokenized assets lifecycle.
• Preferred: Familiarity with AI tools that enhance coding velocity and quality, and experience in financial services with knowledge of regulatory requirements for clearing, settlement, and custody.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud tools such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Knowledge of data residency, encryption standards (including CMEK), and explainability in banking contexts.
• Strong data modeling skills across relational, NoSQL, and analytical schemas like Star Schema and Data Vault.
• Ability to independently lead discovery phases, translating vague business problems into detailed product requirements and prototypes.
