As a Solutions Director, you will work closely with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to foster strong client relationships and deliver tailored AI-driven solutions that produce measurable results.

Role Overview

The Solutions Director will be responsible for crafting strategic solutions that help clients realize their business objectives through AI innovation. This includes collaborating with various internal teams to develop and expand client partnerships, acting as a subject matter expert on AI and related technologies, and leading pre-sales activities such as discovery workshops, proposal writing, and RFP responses. You will translate client needs into actionable solution roadmaps, working with specialists in software, data, AI, design, and engineering to ensure seamless project delivery from initial engagement to implementation.

You will also be involved in creating compelling case studies and success stories to demonstrate the impact of Nearformâ??s solutions, as well as contributing to the growth and refinement of the AI practice by sharing best practices and driving innovation.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 12 yearsâ?? experience in software engineering and technical leadership, ideally within consulting, pre-sales, or digital services account management.
• Practical experience in solution architecture, software architecture, cloud platforms, and AI-native development practices.
• Ability to conduct workshops exploring use cases, explaining trade-offs, and aligning stakeholders on the best solutions.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, including foundation models, RAG techniques, agent-based systems, and evaluation frameworks to ensure efficacy.
• Strong understanding of AI, data pipelines, and cloud ecosystems like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven success engaging with senior enterprise leaders (VP/C-level) and leading solution discussions.
• Experience working with sales teams to shape and close deals, with strong presentation and proposal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to develop tailored solutions and proposals.
