About the Role

The Solutions Engineer position is a technical role focused on designing, developing, and implementing tailored solutions that meet customer requirements. You will work closely with sales teams to understand client needs, craft technical proposals, and demonstrate Cisco solutions effectively. Your expertise will be vital during deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to ensure customer success and satisfaction. Staying up-to-date with Ciscoâ??s latest technologies and industry trends is essential to provide relevant and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical solutions aligned with customer needs, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
• Partner with sales teams to interpret client requirements and translate them into compelling technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Support the deployment process, assisting customers with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco products.
• Address technical issues promptly, maintaining high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain current knowledge of Ciscoâ??s product portfolio, industry developments, and competitive landscape to effectively position solutions.
• Participate in technical meetings, workshops, and client presentations to showcase Ciscoâ??s value propositions.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a solutions engineering, technical consulting, or similar role, preferably within networking or security domains.
• Deep understanding of Cisco technologies, network architecture, and related IT solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and clients to meet technical and business goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are advantageous.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred.
