Sr. Integrations Software Engineer Salesforce Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Salesforce Integration team at Dialpad, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company’s native Salesforce integration, as well as other essential applications. Your work will facilitate real-time automations and data transfers between Dialpad and key complementary systems, ensuring a seamless experience for our mutual customers. You will collaborate closely with engineering teammates, product leaders, business leaders, and external stakeholders, with a strong focus on enhancing the Salesforce integration. This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is based in our London office, requiring you to be in the office 2-3 times a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Dialpadâ??s Salesforce integration.
• Contribute to the development of other Dialpad integrations.
• Write architectural design and specification documents.
• Develop well-tested features with appropriate test hooks, resulting in low defect reports.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using best practices, along with unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Assist with emerging Agentic AI technologies and initiatives.
• Represent the team as a technical expert.
• Provide mentorship and guidance for other engineers on the team.

Technical Skills Required

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Experience with at least one major backend programming language, especially Java or Python, and one major frontend programming language, especially Vue or React.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Collaborative and a team player, but also able to work independently and autonomously.
• Pragmatic approach to solving problems while balancing business goals.
• Experience building integrations.
• Proficiency with ETL data pipelines.
• Experience with Agentic AI technologies.
• Usage of AI coding assistants for the majority of coding tasks.
