Role Overview
The primary focus of this role is to support software solutions related to Computer Vision and Machine Learning that are deployed by OEMs, ODMs, and ecosystem partners for Edge computing and Physical AI applications. You will work directly with customers and partners, providing technical support, training, documentation, and enablement throughout their development process. Collaborating closely with engineering teams and technical experts, you will ensure the successful adoption and deployment of Arm technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support to partners on firmware, software, machine learning, and computer vision issues on Arm-based systems.
- Work in tandem with hardware, ML, and application engineering teams, as well as cross-functional groups including engineering, product management, and business units, to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Investigate and reproduce complex customer issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement effective solutions.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and technical presentations to educate and enable customers.
- Support customers during major project milestones such as platform initialization and integration activities.
- Share your technical knowledge by mentoring less experienced engineers.
- Occasionally travel to Arm offices or partner locations to facilitate direct support and collaboration.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency with machine learning and computer vision software frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX is desirable.
- Experience debugging systems from firmware to operating system and application layers.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, including application and driver development.
- At least ten years of experience in firmware or software development roles.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++, with a focus on writing efficient and reliable code.
- Deep understanding of SoC architecture and Arm processor functionalities.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and provide guidance across distributed and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or inference runtimes.
- Expertise in system bring-up and JTAG debugging techniques.
- Background in system performance analysis.
- Familiarity with RTL simulation tools and software development tools.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is between £97,300 and £131,700, reflecting the level of expertise and experience required.
