Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience as a data scientist with a focus on geospatial data analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience using geospatial libraries like GeoPandas, Shapely, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with spatial databases such as PostGIS or other GIS data management systems.
  • Deep understanding of geospatial data formats, coordinate systems, and spatial analysis techniques.
  • Experience in building and deploying machine learning models tailored to geospatial datasets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex, large-scale data challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Geography, or related fields; an advanced degree is a plus.
