As a Staff Hardware System Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing manufacturing test solutions that ensure the delivery of high-quality AI hardware at production scale. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of products reaching customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating tools, test content, and diagnostics to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Designing test software and approaches while addressing complex hardware issues.
• Working closely with hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to improve test coverage and quickly diagnose problems.
• Influencing engineering decisions and raising technical standards across the organization.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Significant experience in developing and deploying manufacturing test solutions for high-performance servers or similar large-scale compute hardware.
• Strong technical leadership skills, with a history of managing substantial technical projects and collaborating across teams without direct management authority.
• A solid understanding of silicon, board, and system design to effectively define manufacturing test coverage and lead complex debugging efforts.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working with internal software, firmware, and platform teams to enhance testability and diagnosability.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, OpenBMC, and vendor-specific test tools in lab and manufacturing environments.
• Strong software engineering skills, including scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash), to build reliable test infrastructure.

Desirable qualifications include familiarity with rack-scale systems, experience in improving manufacturing KPIs through data-driven optimization, and knowledge of open-source tools for manufacturing testing and diagnostics.
