• Act as a technical authority, providing expert reviews and strategic advice across multiple teams to ensure high standards and effective collaboration.
• Design scalable, high-performance architectures capable of handling over 20,000 requests per minute, addressing complex logistical and operational challenges.
• Influence the long-term technical roadmap, managing project timelines, assessing risks, and ensuring sustainable delivery of features and systems.
• Support the growth of engineering talent by mentoring team members at all levels and partnering with emerging leaders to foster a strong engineering culture.
• Lead technical interviews and contribute to recruitment strategies to attract and retain top engineering talent.
• Collaborate across disciplines to resolve ambiguous technical problems and align efforts towards organizational goals.

What Youâ??ll Need to Thrive

• Significant experience developing web applications using a modern technology stack, with proficiency in languages such as Go, Ruby, Python, and Scala, and enthusiasm for working across these languages.
• Proven ability to design and operate web architectures capable of supporting large-scale request volumes and complex workflows.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL solutions such as Redis, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Strong understanding of high-scale system design, including managing systems that process millions of requests daily.
• Excellent strategic leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and disciplines to solve technical challenges that are often ambiguous or complex.
