We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our dynamic Systems Architecture and Technology Group in Cambridge, UK, or Sophia Antipolis, France. This team focuses on shaping the future of Arm architectures over the next 3 to 5 years, exploring industry trends such as artificial intelligence, security, energy efficiency, and software ecosystems. Your work will influence the development of next-generation computing devices used in mobile, virtual reality, servers, autonomous vehicles, and robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with various internal technology teams, external partners, and industry groups to innovate and deploy new technologies within the Arm ecosystem.
  • Engage in both hardware and software development, demonstrating a passion for advancing expertise in these areas.
  • Contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge IP that supports future devices and applications.
  • Analyze industry trends such as AI and develop architectures that meet emerging needs.
  • Participate in projects that impact the design of high-performance, energy-efficient computing systems.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, with relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture concepts, including CPUs, GPUs, or other hardware accelerators.
  • Proficiency in programming and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, motivation, and diligence in technical work.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Arm architecture fundamentals.
  • Experience with vector processing and parallel programming techniques.
  • Familiarity with multimodal machine learning, Transformers, and AI frameworks.
  • Experience with architecture performance analysis and optimization.

Locations

This role offers flexibility to be based either in Cambridge, UK, situated in Silicon Fen, or in Sophia Antipolis, France, within Europe’s leading tech hub.

Compensation and Benefits

In the UK, the annual salary ranges from GBP 97,300 to GBP 131,700. In France, the salary ranges from EUR 78,500 to EUR 106,300.
