We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Planning Office Lead to guide the long-term direction of our organization. This pivotal role sits at the crossroads of strategy, operational effectiveness, and organizational change, requiring collaboration with senior leadership to define strategic priorities and ensure alignment with measurable business outcomes.

The successful candidate will leverage strategic thinking and a solid understanding of technology and industry trends to facilitate data-driven decision-making. You will provide business insights and thought leadership, enabling leaders to operate with the clarity and effectiveness characteristic of high-performing organizations. A strong bias for action and the ability to address complex challenges with urgency and ownership are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning process, translating long-term strategies into clear, actionable priorities.
  • Own the three-year strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including the development of high-quality, board-ready materials.
  • Support the definition and delivery of OKRs, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and tracking progress throughout the year.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, solving complex business challenges from initial scoping through to delivery.
  • Partner with the Head of Delivery to align strategic planning with quarterly execution cycles.
  • Oversee governance, planning rhythms, and business performance across the AOP and OKRs.
  • Develop and evolve operating models, planning frameworks, and governance processes.
  • Lead and coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to drive alignment, focus, and accountability.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Strategic Planning function, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and delivery.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience in strategic planning, transformation, strategy consulting, operational excellence, or business management.
  • Strong ability to assess market landscapes, competitor positioning, and technology trends.
  • Excellent commercial and analytical skills, with the capability to solve ambiguous problems and translate complex information.
  • Outstanding communication and facilitation skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of organizational systems, delivery, and outcome-based planning.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
  • Experience using data and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve strategic planning and organizational effectiveness.
