Role Overview

The Summer Intern will support the delivery of IM&T projects that enhance business capabilities and customer service. This includes developing data-driven solutions to improve performance and decision-making processes. The intern will also maintain and enhance systems that are crucial for the design and manufacturing of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing IM&T projects that deliver capabilities to the business and its customers.
• Develop data-driven solutions to enhance business understanding and performance.
• Maintain and improve design, business, and manufacturing systems used in the development of innovative products.
• Collaborate with internal customers to understand and define their IT system requirements.
• Engage in a variety of complex activities, investigating and resolving intricate issues.
• Support various IT processes, services, and projects as needed.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor work to ensure objectives, timelines, quality standards, and business requirements are met.

Team Context

The Air Team at BAE Systems has a rich history in developing, manufacturing, upgrading, and supporting advanced combat and fast jet trainer aircraft. The team operates globally, contributing to the design, production, and support of aircraft such as Typhoon, F-35, and Tempest.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be on track to achieve at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in any subject.
