As a Summer Intern Material Scientist at BAE Systems, you will join a dynamic team in Great Baddow, contributing to innovative solutions in the defence, aerospace, and security sectors. Role Overview

Your primary responsibilities will involve working within the Product Assurance Response Centre (PARC), where you will prepare essential technical documentation, including reports and test procedures. You will also provide troubleshooting and failure analysis services for various components and processes.

Qualifications

To qualify for this internship, you must have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM subject. Experience in a production, electronics, or quality environment is advantageous, as is familiarity with analytical techniques such as SEM/EDX, XRF, and tensile testing.

Working Pattern
