This Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity to learn through practical experience, where you will be expected to take initiative and push your boundaries.

During this two to three week, in-person, paid internship, you will engage in various activities including attending court hearings, working directly with clients, and collaborating with experienced professionals. This program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in a global law firm, allowing you to understand the intersection of law, business, and technology.

Your internship will begin with an interactive induction in London, where you will connect with fellow interns and start building your professional network. You will immerse yourself in complex work, contribute to real client matters, and gain insights into how different practice and sector groups assist clients in navigating changes. The program emphasizes structured learning opportunities that will enhance your professional skills and broaden your perspective on legal technology, sustainability, and responsible business practices.

To be eligible for this internship, law students must be in their penultimate or final year of an accredited Scots Law LLB, or be a law graduate. Non-law students must have graduated and be pursuing the accelerated Scots Law LLB route. Additionally, you should have achieved AAAAB at Scottish Higher or AAB at A-Level (or equivalent) and be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent). It is also essential that you have the right to work full-time for the duration of the program.

We seek individuals from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate a genuine interest in global business and commercial law. You do not need specific legal experience or education to apply, but you should be proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to continuous development are essential for success in this role.
