Supply Chain Graduate Overview

Join EDF’s Supply Chain Graduate Programme and embark on a unique career path while contributing to the future of energy. This two-year programme, starting in September 2027, offers a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum and the opportunity to gain valuable skills in procurement and supply chain management.

As a participant, you will work towards a fully funded CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply, gaining hands-on experience across EDF’s Nuclear business, including placements at Hinkley Point C, Nuclear Operations, and central Supply Chain teams. You will develop expertise in procurement, contract management, supplier relationships, forecasting, strategic sourcing, and commercial delivery, all while contributing to projects that support the UK’s transition to a low-carbon future.

Your journey will involve working alongside procurement specialists, commercial managers, and supply chain professionals, where you will take on real responsibilities from day one. You will engage in live projects that directly impact EDF’s operations and major infrastructure initiatives. Throughout the programme, you will receive structured learning, mentoring, and support to help you reach your full potential.

Placements will be based at key sites such as Hinkley Point C, Bristol, and Bridgwater, with opportunities to work across different areas of the business. Most roles will require you to be onsite between three and five days a week, and you may need to temporarily relocate for certain placements, with support provided for these transitions.

To qualify for this programme, you must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which typically requires UK residency for at least three of the past five years. Additionally, you must be available to attend a Virtual Assessment Centre on November 5, 2026.
