Role Overview

The successful candidate will work at the intersection of hardware and software, taking ownership of the runtime environment, SDKs, and APIs that communicate with FPGA and ASIC hardware modules. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop the core software infrastructure that supports hardware integration for AI accelerators.
• Create and maintain runtime systems, SDKs, and APIs that interface directly with FPGA and ASIC hardware components.
• Optimize software performance through benchmarking, profiling, and tuning to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams, especially FPGA developers, to ensure software and hardware work harmoniously.
• Enhance developer experience by developing intuitive APIs, tooling, and automation scripts.
• Participate in performance benchmarking and profiling activities to continually improve system throughput and responsiveness.
• Contribute to the development of scalable and efficient software solutions that support the company’s innovative AI hardware platform.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience programming in C and C++ within a Linux environment, demonstrating strong software development capabilities.
• Background in systems software, accelerators, FPGA, DPU, SmartNIC, or other custom silicon hardware development.
• Experience working with hardware interfaces such as PCIe, DMA, and memory-mapped I/O, with a solid understanding of hardware-software interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with FPGA and hardware teams to develop and optimize software solutions.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, benchmarking, and profiling techniques.
• Proficiency in Python for SDK development, tooling, or automation tasks.
• Ideally, experience developing runtime software, SDKs, or APIs for novel hardware platforms.
