Google is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to oversee the development of Android growth systems and core app foundations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Android growth systems and foundational components that enable rapid user growth and engagement.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define technical strategies and deliver innovative solutions.
• Architect and develop robust Android frameworks and tools that facilitate seamless user experiences and support scalability.
• Drive technological innovation by exploring new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve app performance and stability.
• Mentor and support engineering team members, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Analyze system performance data and user feedback to identify opportunities for enhancement and implement effective technical improvements.
• Ensure all growth systems comply with security, privacy, and legal standards, aligning with overall product objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience leading Android development teams or projects, with a strong background in mobile app engineering.
• Deep knowledge of Android platform architecture, SDKs, and development tools.
• Proficiency in designing scalable systems, APIs, and optimizing app performance.
• Experience with growth hacking strategies, analytics, and implementing features that boost user acquisition and retention.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to address complex technical challenges effectively.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelorâ??s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are advantageous.
