Capgemini is seeking an experienced Technical Test Manager to join their team in London, working within the Sogeti division. This role involves leading and overseeing testing strategies, governance, and delivery across multiple projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will establish testing standards, frameworks, and controls, and will be responsible for defining and maintaining quality metrics, reporting dashboards, and providing executive-level insights.

The role requires leading and motivating Test Leads, Test Analysts, and Quality Engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The Test Manager will oversee end-to-end testing activities, including functional, integration, system, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing, driving initiatives such as automation and AI-enabled testing to enhance efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities include managing program-level testing risks, issues, dependencies, and defect governance, collaborating with various stakeholders such as project managers, architects, product owners, and business analysts to embed quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The Test Manager will act as the senior authority on testing, influencing stakeholders and providing assurance on delivery readiness and quality standards. Additionally, they will own test budgets, resource planning, forecasting, and vendor management where applicable.

Candidates should have substantial experience managing testing within large enterprise environments, with proven leadership of distributed teams and vendors. Expertise in test governance, quality management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder reporting is essential. The role demands familiarity with delivering both functional and non-functional testing disciplines at scale, including automation, performance, security, and accessibility testing. Experience in defining enterprise test strategies, operating models, and quality frameworks, especially involving automation and AI, is highly valued.
