As an Undergraduate Data Analyst at BAE Systems, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into valuable business insights within the Air sector. This position involves close collaboration with both internal and external customers, particularly those located on-site, to support decision-making through analytical outputs and visualizations.

Your core responsibilities will include applying various tools and techniques for data analysis and visualization, with a strong emphasis on using Tableau. You will be tasked with identifying, collecting, migrating, managing, cleaning, abstracting, and aggregating data from multiple systems to facilitate analytical studies. Additionally, you will manipulate and link different data sets to generate meaningful insights and present your findings in formats that are accessible to stakeholders.

As part of a collaborative team, you will engage with a diverse range of customers and technical specialists to understand their business needs and contribute to the development of analytical solutions that deliver value across the organization. You will also maintain existing dashboards and identify opportunities for their development and improvement, while working closely with data engineers to ensure that data requirements are clearly articulated for smooth product delivery.

To qualify for this role, you must be on track to obtain at least a 2:2 Bachelorâ??s degree or a pass at Masterâ??s level in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence. Experience in data analytics, statistics, programming, and AI will be beneficial. The position offers a competitive salary of £25,900 and provides opportunities for lifelong learning and career growth.
