Role Overview

This position is an industrial placement within the Digital Intelligence sector, located in Great Baddow, with a duration of 12 months starting in June 2027. You will engage in various engineering tasks, contributing to the design and development of electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full engineering lifecycle, collaborating with clients on hardware design and manufacturing.
• Implement complex signal processing algorithms using VHDL.
• Design switch mode power supplies and work on low power embedded systems.
• Develop ruggedized devices suitable for challenging environments.
• Assist colleagues in presenting new ideas to clients.
• Manage multiple assignments independently while receiving support from team members.
• Conduct research, data collection, and analysis.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have achieved or be predicted to achieve at least a 2:2 in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Maths, or Physics. Additionally, all applicants must meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard and may require higher levels of National Security Vetting based on their residency in the UK.
