Join BAE Systems as an Undergraduate in Procurement, where you will play a crucial role in supporting procurement activities that help the business achieve its goals while enhancing your knowledge in commercial and supply chain management. This 12-month placement is based at our Warton/Samlesbury location in Lancashire, starting in June 2027.

Role Overview

As part of the Procurement function, you will engage in various activities that contribute to the overall success of the organization. You will work in a collaborative environment, gaining insights into how effective procurement can drive business performance and create value.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management of supplier relationships, ensuring regular communication and addressing any service issues.
• Timely placement of purchase orders and processing of procurement requests while maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct market analysis and supplier research to identify potential vendors and assess risks.
• Assist in supplier negotiations by preparing cost analyses and supporting contract activities.
• Track supplier performance and analyze procurement data to identify efficiency improvements.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders to provide procurement support and ensure high service standards.

To qualify for this role, you must be on track to obtain a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelorâ??s degree or a pass at Masterâ??s level in any subject.
