As an Undergraduate Test Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, you will be integral to the development and maintenance of software that supports automated test systems. This role is based in Rochester, Kent, and is part of a 12-month placement starting in June 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in integrating software, hardware, and test equipment to deliver reliable testing solutions while collaborating with engineering teams to solve problems effectively.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop software using LabVIEW, TestStand, and internal engineering tools.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of test system hardware and software.
• Integrate and verify test systems for development and production environments.
• Analyze and resolve software, hardware, and test system faults.
• Create technical documentation and support test procedures.
• Work alongside experienced engineers across software, systems, and hardware disciplines.
