In addition, for local capture, confirm that an entry exists for the file in the V$ARCHIVED_LOG view. If an entry is missing, it can be added using the ALTER DATABASE REGISTER …. LOGFILE command, specifying the keyword LOGICAL LOGFILE or PHYSICAL LOGFILE as appropriate.
